About Us
Hello and welcome! My name is Joy and I am the Artist/Pyro/Founder of The Nova Art Studio.
In January 2020, right before the pandemic hit, my husband and I had just moved over a 1,000 miles from where we both grew up. In a new (rural) place, and with no way to easily connect with others in the area, I started learning pyrography. I found it to be therapeutic and a relaxing way to get through some anxious days in a new place.
I’ve always had a passion for art, animals and nature. This has led me to becoming a Pyrography Artist and I am excited to share this with you. If you are looking for something specific, whether for your own home or to gift to someone, and you don’t happen to see it here, please contact me. I am sure we can create something magical for you!
